Accountant

Chung Fung Metal is looking for an Accountant with a minimum of 2-5 years’ accounting experience within a manufacturing, production, warehousing, recycling, metals processing, or inventory-intensive environment, with hands-on experience in inventory accounting, stock reconciliations, accounts payable, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end reporting. They must have a strong understanding of inventory costing methodologies, financial controls, and ERP/accounting systems is essential.

Job Description

To ensure the accurate recording, valuation, reconciliation, and reporting of inventory and financial transactions while maintaining the integrity of financial records. The incumbent will support accounting operations through inventory management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, supplier coordination, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.

Qualification

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Communication Skills and Competencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to prepare clear and accurate financial reports, reconciliations, and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, auditors, and internal stakeholders

Computer Literacy

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis).

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with accounting and ERP systems, preferably Peachtree/Sage Pastel or similar accounting software. Ability to capture, maintain, and analyze financial and inventory data accurately

Other Skills: Strong data reconciliation and reporting skills using computerized accounting systems.
